Customs simplifications

Customs Admininstration of the Republic of Slovenia has provided us with simplifications regarding implementation of customs formalities in customs procedures related to the customs intervention and Customs Code.

These simplifications have proven to be a preference in practice for participants because they allow faster implementation of customs procedures and also a faster reception of goods in companies.

We have obtained the following simplifications:

• Status of authorized consignor, who has a permit to perform community transit operations without obligation of presentation of goods and suitable transit documentation to the Office of Departure.
• Status of authorized consignee, who has a permit allowing him/her not to be obliged to present the goods, that is intended for him and is carried within the transit procedure.  
• Reporting of goods on the basis of local clearence, which allows the permit holder to introduce the goods into the customs procedure at the premises of the company or at other locations, approved by the customs authority (customs clearence in the company).
