Registration and vehicle inspection

On the basis of the decision of Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Slovenia the company Alpetour PLC is authorized to do the following:

• Carry out technical inspections of motor vehicles and their trailers (registrational organization),
• Implement registration procedures of motor vehicles and their trailers and
• The issue of trial plates and certficates for test driving.

We carry out technical inspections for:

For tractors and tractor trailers we perform technical inspections also in the field.

We implement vehicles inspection acccording to the CEMT resolution (CEMT - European Conference of Transport Ministers, safer and greener heavy goods vehicles) for:

• Heavy goods vehicles,
• Trailers and
• Heavy goods or towing vehicles with their trailers.

Apart from that we also perform technical vehicle modifications, for which no expert examination by professional organization need to be performed (212. article of Road Transport Safety Act).

Within the authorization of Ministry of the Interior we perform the following administrative procedures for motor vehicles and their trailers, that may be present in the road transport (190. article of Road Transport Safety Act):

• Vehicle registration,
• Technical data modification of registered vehicle,
• Data modification regarding the owner or ownership of the vehicle,
• Deregistration of vehicles,
• Issue of certificate of registration and extension of certificate of registration,
• Issue of registration plates and order regarding renewed registration plates and
• Issue of trial plates and certificates for trials.

Apart from the administrative procedures we offer to our clients the following :

• Transactions of compulsory insurance for the following insurance companies Triglav, Adriatic-Slovenica, Tilia, Zavarovalnica Maribor,
• Payment of annual road usage refund fee for the use of public roads,
• Payment of administrative stamps and
• Technical vehicle changes within the regular technical inspection or as an independent procedure on application by the customer in the event of a change of colour, speed limit entry in accordance with the 34. article of Road Transport Safety Act, change of VIN number (identification number of the vehicle) on the basis of the 49. article of Rules on vehicles roadworthiness test.  

Technical vehicle inspections are carried out in the testing area for technical inspections on the testing track for passenger vehicles, cargo vehicles and motor vehicles.

Technical inspections of tractors and agricultural tractor trailers and  vehicles, that cannot be tested on individual testing tracks due to their specific technical characteristics, are carried out on areas outside the testing tracks, especially prescribed for this specific purpose.

Technical inspections covers examination and testing of all devices and equipment on the vehicle.
